Cupric Carbonate basic,green granular English name:Cupric carbonate, basic Copper carbonate hydroxide, Cupric subcarbonate,Coppercarbonatebasic,Bremen blue,Bremen green,Coppercarbonatehydroxide Molecular formula: CuCO3•Cu(OH)2Molecular weight: 221.10 Properties: Amorphous powder green to blue or dark green monoclinic crystal. 200 °C decomposition. Soluble in acid and aqueous ammonia, dissolved in acid and form corresponding copper salt, soluble in cyanide, sodium hydroxide, ammonium and alkali metal carbonate aqueous solution to form copper complexes. Insoluble in cold water, almost insoluble in water and ethanol. Solubility in water is 0.0008%. The relative density is 4.0. Low toxicity. Irritant.
